“An Iranian Transgender Story”

This photography series tells the story of Sina, a young man who identifies as transgender and lives in Bandar Abbas. In a situation where his family has separated and, due to personal matters, he lives with his grandmother, Sina is in search of identity and acceptance within society. He has faced humiliation in public several times, yet he continues on his path. Sina maintains connections with other transgender individuals and, for brief moments of respite from this tense world, he visits cafes to spend time with his female friends. This collection captures the challenges and hopes Sina experiences in his life.
