Caption for the series Women’s Club in Iran
The women’s club in Iran is more than just a simple place; it is a space where women come together, talk, share their experiences, and strive for their presence and continuity in society. Within its walls, moments are created that may appear ordinary on the surface, yet carry with them strength, resilience, and hope.
In photographing this series, my aim was to move beyond the surface of the space and to capture my personal view of the human connections and collective energy of women. Each image tells a story of voices that may often go unheard, yet their presence is undeniable — voices that intertwine and, despite limitations, create a new meaning of existence.
This series is an invitation to look again at the role and presence of women who, in the club, are not only exercising or engaging in daily activities but also reimagining their identities and practicing the art of being together.
